Refund and Returns Policy

Myco Outlet wants customers to receive fresh, properly prepared cultivation supplies in good condition. Because many of our products are biological or prepared cultivation materials, they cannot always be returned and resold like ordinary retail merchandise.

Please read this policy before using your order.

Inspect Your Order When It Arrives

Please inspect your shipment promptly after delivery.

If a package arrives damaged, leaking, improperly sealed, visibly contaminated, or otherwise appears to have a problem before use, contact Myco Outlet as soon as possible.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The product involved
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the shipping package if damage occurred during transit

Do not discard the product or shipping packaging until we have reviewed the issue.

Unopened Products

Unopened and unused products may be eligible for return or replacement depending on the circumstances.

Because grain, substrate, and other prepared cultivation materials have a limited freshness window, returns must be requested promptly after delivery.

Contact us before shipping anything back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Opened, Inoculated, or Used Products

Products that have been opened, inoculated, mixed, spawned, altered, improperly stored, or otherwise used are generally not returnable.

Once a cultivation product has been opened or inoculated, many factors outside our control can affect the outcome, including inoculation technique, culture cleanliness, sterile technique, storage conditions, temperature, handling, environmental exposure, customer equipment, and contamination introduced after delivery.

For that reason, we cannot guarantee cultivation results after a product has been opened, inoculated, or used.

Contamination Claims

If you believe a grain bag, substrate bag, or All-in-One bag arrived contaminated before it was opened or inoculated, contact us promptly and provide clear photographs.

We will review the condition of the product and the circumstances of the claim.

Visible problems that are documented before use are much easier for us to evaluate than problems reported after a product has been inoculated or opened.

Contamination appearing after inoculation does not automatically establish that the product was contaminated when shipped.

Each claim will be reviewed individually.

Products Damaged During Shipping

We package our products carefully, but once a shipment enters the carrier’s system, it may be exposed to rough handling, crushing, punctures, drops, or other damage outside Myco Outlet’s control.

If your order arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the damaged product
  • Photographs of the exterior shipping box or mailer
  • Photographs of any visible damage to the packaging
  • A photograph showing the shipping label when possible

Please do not discard the damaged product or shipping packaging until the issue has been resolved. The carrier may require photographs, documentation, or inspection as part of an insurance claim.

Our USPS shipments are sent with carrier insurance associated with the shipping service we use. When shipping damage occurs, Myco Outlet may file a claim with USPS using the photographs and documentation you provide.

When we are notified promptly and the damage is clearly documented, we will generally replace the damaged product rather than leave a customer stuck with an unusable order.

For carrier-damaged shipments, the customer may be responsible for the postage required to ship the replacement product, depending on the circumstances of the claim.

Claims reported long after delivery, or claims without sufficient photographs or supporting information, may be difficult or impossible for us to verify or submit to the carrier.

Why We Need Photos

Shipping damage claims are not based on distrust of the customer.

Photographs help us determine what happened and provide the documentation the shipping carrier may require for an insurance claim.

If a grain bag, substrate bag, or All-in-One bag has been punctured, split, crushed, or otherwise compromised during shipping, do not inoculate or use it before contacting us.

Using a visibly damaged product may make it impossible to determine whether a later problem resulted from shipping damage, handling, or contamination introduced afterward.

Incorrect Orders

If Myco Outlet ships the wrong product or quantity, contact us and we will correct the order.

Do not use or dispose of the incorrect product until we provide instructions.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Orders that have not yet been packed or shipped may be eligible for cancellation.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled and may instead be subject to the applicable return provisions of this policy.

Refunds

When a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to the original payment method.

After Myco Outlet submits a refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.

Original shipping expenses already incurred by Myco Outlet may be deducted from refunds involving discretionary returns or customer ordering errors.

Products that arrive damaged, incorrect, or with a verified issue attributable to Myco Outlet will be handled separately based on the circumstances.

Free Shipping and Returns

Many Myco Outlet products are sold with free U.S. shipping included in the advertised price.

“Free shipping” means the customer is not charged a separate shipping fee at checkout. Myco Outlet still incurs the actual cost of shipping the order.

If a customer voluntarily returns an otherwise correct and undamaged order, the original shipping cost incurred by Myco Outlet may be deducted from any approved refund.

This does not apply when the return results from an error by Myco Outlet or a verified problem with the product when delivered.

Fresh Products

Myco Outlet produces grain, substrate, and related cultivation products in regularly rotated batches.

We maintain fresh inventory and do not intentionally ship prepared cultivation products that have been sitting in inventory for extended periods.

Customers should store products appropriately and use them within a reasonable period after delivery.

No Guarantee of Biological Results

Myco Outlet guarantees the condition of our products when they leave our control, subject to the terms of this policy.

We cannot guarantee colonization speed, yield, biological performance, or cultivation success because those results depend on numerous factors outside our control.

Our responsibility is to provide the product described, prepared and packaged appropriately, and delivered in acceptable condition.

How to Request Help

Before requesting a return, replacement, or refund, contact:

Please include your order number and enough information for us to understand what happened.

We would rather have the opportunity to review and resolve a legitimate problem than leave a customer wondering what to do.
